WHAT IS HOMESCHOOLING?

Homeschooling is a type of education in which students are taught by their parents or tutors in the house. It is an alternative educational choice for the formal schooling. It gained popularity during the time of covid pandemic.

WHY HOMESCHOOLING?

Homeschooling has may disadvantages yet many students choose homeschooling as an educational choice it is because it is flexible to parents and avoid behaviour change in students

ADVANTAGES

As we had discussed in the last topic it has many disadvantages. Now let's see about the advantages. First homeschooling is best because it safe environment. Further they get personalised and necessary attention with their parents or tutors.

DISADVANTAGES

The first major disadvantage is it creates financial crisis. Second, students won't get a change to interact with peer group. Further they won't get a chance to participate in extra curricular activity like sports etc. Atlast schools offer more exposure than homeschooling, also it becomes difficult to join colleges after homeschooling.

IS THERE ANY ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION CHOICES?

Yes there are many alternative choices like following any kind of formal educational board system like CBSE, ICSE, NIOS, NOS. Also virtual classes are implemented at the time of covid.
