IMPACT OF COVID-19 ON 10th GRADE STUDENTS

                                                                 INTRODUCTION

All of a sudden the world shifted towards online due to the pandemic. People started their work from home and they also started their shopping in online. Mainly students started their online education, which is a new experience for students. But the students, they soon adopted the new educational system. In this blog we are going to take a look at "IMPACT OF COVID-19 ON 10th GRADE STUDENTS".

                                        CHALLENGES OF MENTAL HEALTH ON STUDENTS

The pandemic has taken a toll on the student's mental health.  More than one year of isolation, uncertainty in education, and academic pressure by parents cause students to depression, stress, and anxiety. It is very crucial to provide the necessary support and resources to students.

                                        UNEQUAL ACCESS OF RESOURCES AMONG STUDENTS

The sudden transitions of the online show the disparities among students. Not all students have access to reliable internet and accessible gadgets this shows the economic situation, and many are not able to attend the online classes due to the good environment at their home.

                                       THE ROLE PLAYED BY EXAMS AND COLLEGE ADMISSIONS

The exams play an important role in analyzing the student's knowledge and where the student wants to improve, but as we have seen above many students were not able the online classes. Students were afraid of appearing on the exam hall. Thus the government disputed the board exams of 2020 and 2021 during the COVID 1st and 2nd wave. And the government also promoted the 10th-grade students . Exams were  playing an important in college admissions to evaluate the student,s status.

                                                                      CONCLUIONS 

To solve this impacts many educational institutions started extra classes , necessary technological support and changes in teaching methodologies for students.And they also concentrated on the student's mental health.
