WHAT IS HOMESCHOOLING?

Homeschooling is a type of education choice, in which students are taught by their parents or tutors. It is an alternative choice for formal education. It gained popularity during the time of covid.


WHY HOMESCHOOLING? 

Homeschooling has many disadvantages yet many students choose homeschoolijng as an choice of education, it is because students are independent and free, also they can avoid behavior change, and atlast the environment they learn is very safe, like free from bully.


ADVANTAGES OF HOMESCHOOLING 

As we had discussed in the above topic, homeschooling has many disadvantages also advantages like they get personalised and necessary attention with their parents or tutors, they are independent. Further, the environment is very safe. Homeschooling gained inportance at the time of covid pandemic.


DISADVANTAGES OF HOMESCHOOLING  

Home schooling has a major disadvantages that is, parents have to hire a personal tutor which leads to financial crisis, also if parents teach their kids they have to opt for part time work and teach with the left overtime which will again leads to financial crisis. Secondly, the students are unable to interact with the peer-group. Also, they are can't participate in extracurricular activities like sports. Further, schools offer more exposure to the children than homeschooling. Atlast, it would be difficult to join colleges after homeschooling.


IS THERE ANY ALTERNATIVE EDUCATIONAL CHOICES?

Yes, there are alternative educational choices like following any kind of educational board like CBSE, NIOS, ICSE, NOS Etc. Also virtual classes are implemented at the time of covid pandemic.


CONCLUSION

In conclusion, we can't say homeschooling is a best choice for education. But at the time of covid it was the only option that evolved among parents to educate their children. Though it has many advantages and disadvantages it is their own interest to educate their child by homeschooling. Also it has to be decided by the factors like financial situation of the family, interest and etc.
