IMPACT OF COVID ON STUDENT'S MENTAL HEALTH AND EDUCATION

 Education Funding

For getting education, people spend a lot of time and money. People also borrow money from the lenders to get their child educated. Bank also provides education loans for the students. There are few educational institution, which forced the parents to pay fees and did education as a business. Online transaction became very common.

Declination of Mental Health

During covid-19, students were forced to study at home, which leads to less social interaction and exercise. This affected the physical and mental health of the students. Many students were addicted to their mobiles and were stressed due to restrictions of covid. They also started to experience depression. Therefore, activities were given to them to keep their mental health stable.

Counselling Services for Students

Counselling was given to them to overcome depression. Mental health advisor try to understand the problem of the students by asking a few questions. Based on the response of the students, advisor advised them to overcome their struggle. They also encouraged and supported the students who pursued activities to get rid of stress.

Tutors for Students 

Because the students started to struggle in their academics, parents were forced to arrange tutors to make their child feel comfortable. Tutors provided good teaching and supported the students to study with enthusiasm.

Addressing the Increased Demand for Support During Covid-19 

The government took preventive measures to prevent covid-19. The government, doctors, nurse, garbage cleaners, etc. worked for public's wellbeing. They are the heroes of covid. Some service minded people also worked for public who suffered during covid and provided necessary things like     N95 masks, sanitizers, etc.

Impact on Students

Students faced difficulties in online learning. Lack of interaction and increased in screen time caused health issues for the students. However, this problem was solved after covid-19.

Going Back to Original State 

After covid-19, schools were reopened. Some students who were not interested to go to school were still learning concepts at home. Due to continuous support from the teachers, students again started to gain confidence and knowledge.

Conclusion

The above discussed points help us to understand the education and resource allocation for student's mental health and counselling, etc.
