The Covid-19 pandemic has brought about challenges for the education sector,altering the dynamics of parent teacher communication and collaboration. while remote learning becoming new, traditional modes of communication were transformed necessiating innovative approaches to maintain and strengthen the essential partnership between teachers and parents.
Prior to pandemic, face to face meetings, parent teacher conferences, and school events formed the meeting of teacher-parent communication. however, with the shift to remote learning, these avenues underwent substantial transformation. the absence of immediate feedback from teachers hindered parents ability to actively participate in their childs education.
Schools and educators swiftly adopted digital platforms as mean to bridge the communication gap. virtual parent teacher meetings, messaging apps became vital for sharing updates on students progress, assignments and overall class remarks. these platforms faciliated real time interaction, enabling parents to stay informed about their childs academic.
