                                          SCIENCE PROJECTS AND PANDEMIC

INTRODUCTION: During covid-19 pandemic, I was bored and watching my phone all the time, my parents were scolding me to do some other useful things instead of sitting on my phone. So I thought of making some projects with the things i could afford in that situation. 

FACTORS WHICH MOTIVATED ME: When I was watching You Tube, I noticed a video on "Simple science projects" in which I can make projects with the things I had. It motivated me and created the interest to do as I was interested in science. The second motivator is my physics teacher who enrolled me in a online competition and said me do do a project. 

PROJECTS I MADE:

1.A SERVING ROBOT: My first project was a serving robot, which I made by watching You Tube and with the help of my friends near my home. We used cardboard for robot's body, aluminum foil for coating, a remote controlled car for moving it and it is attached in the base of the robot, batteries, switch, small lights for decoration and a plastic stick was attached as hand and a plastic tray was attached in the stick for serving purpose. It was a successful project that was working perfectly.

2.AN EARTHQUAKE DETECTOR: My second project, an earthquake detector, which my physics teacher said to do for competition. It was made very simple, which is connected to a simple circuit. I used materials like, cardboard, a copper wire from old charger, battery, switch, a buzzer from an old speaker, a metal nut, a safety pin, and color paper for decorating the cardboard. As when earthquake occurs, the metal nut which is hanged with the copper wire through the safety pin shakes, and touches, it will make a beep sound as the nut and pin were connected in a circuit. 

3.A WATER ROCKET: I made a water rocket with the help of a recycled water bottle, cycle pump, a cycle wall tube, glue. It was made simply as the half water filled bottle, in the opening of it, the wall tube is attached, connected with the pump, makes pressure in the bottle which is tightly closed, when the pressure increases the water with pressure exerts downwards and the rocket will fly for a distance.

CONCLUSION: By this, I am coming to convey that instead of wasting time in phone when you are bored, with use of it make some useful productive things in which you can learn things.
