STUDENTS ATTITUDE TOWARDS COMMUNITY SERVICE AND VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES

 INTRODUCTION:

 Due to pandemic many community services and volunteer activities were cancelled or reduced. Students should always have a positive attitude towards volunteering activities. With the rise of virtual platforms students have had to adopt to engage in volunteering activities.

 

CAUSES OF FEAR : 

After 2 years of COVID when students came back to school, they were hesitant to participate and involving close contact and large gathering, because they were feared of COVID -19 infection. The pandemic created mentally and emotionally burden to students.  Some were affected by COVID 19 , some lost their loved ones. The pandemic has disrupted students lives  , created interest to shift. This pandemic created  the students to hide themselves. 


INNOVATIVE APPROACHES:

Despite challenges some students were adopt to engage in community service and volunteering activities .The virtual foundation like , online awareness campaigns, some cook and gave soup, some donate books to poor people and most important remote assistant. Our school also encouraged our students in volunteer activities, Our school were asked to make masks and then donated to needy people. Our school donated sanitisers and temperature monitoring devices.


CONCLUSION: 

Overall the COVID 19 created obstacles and  tradition community, and been a resilience among students . They were taking efforts and trying to make good change around them.
